I am writing this letter in reference to the Wave Solder Process Training that was provided to Bose, SC, by 48 Rotchild St. P.O.B 277 Rishon Le Zion 75200, ISRAEL. This training helped our personnel gain valuable knowledge of the hands-on wave solder process variables, set points, physics of the dynamic wave for the molten solder and, most importantly, the use of data that is obtained from the Wave Solder Optimizer. The training focused on interpreting the data and making it relevant in ways that solder defects can be diagnosed and eliminated. During the training your instructor was able to help isolate a design flaw that prior to his arrival was thought to have been a process issue. In addition to this, the training helped bring to light an issue with one of our wave machines. This issue manifested itself as a bent solder spout that resulted in a sagging through the middle of our wave, which was identified with the Wave Solder Optimizer. Because of how much our facility has benefited in both knowledge and quality, I highly recommend this training to any company that may be in need of wave solder process improvement.
Sincerely, |
