My whole wave solder team appreciates the unprecedented level of expertise your company has brought to Neptune. Our staff is now able to produce boards closer to, if not at, world-class standards than ever before.

While at our wave machine, we gave your instructor one of our problem boards that we've had difficulty in building. He used that board as a case study and showed us why adjusting the back plate level and controlling parallelism with measurements taken with our Optimizer will eliminate the problem with dross build-up on the leads of this board. He also identified that our board supplier's poor fabrication process lead to solder masking on some of our boards during production. He gave us specific recommendations that we will discuss with our board supplier to eliminate this situation. His attention to detail on this issue included giving us written procedures on the permanent elimination of this problem. We couldn't be more ecstatic with our results.

You also emphasized how we should use the Optimizer Data Manager software to quickly see data trends. We found the software quick and easy to use, especially compared to other process control and SPC software we've tried. The 32 automatic graphs of various parameters simplifies our process documentation.

I would like to also thank you for the continued support you have given us. As you recall, several weeks passed after the training and we started having tremendous problems soldering our boards. After speaking to you on the phone, and the detailed information sent to us specific to our process, we were assured our process was not the problem. As it turned out, all our problems were related to a processing issue at our board supplier.

We are thoroughly impressed with your course and instructor. We use our Optimizer on a daily basis now and have the know-how to utilize the data provided.
