Based on the strong recommendation of our Honeywell plant in Albuquerque, N.M., we invested in our Wave Solder Optimizer and chose to add a couple days of process training to the free day of troubleshooting that came with the equipment purchase.

By applying your Optimizer process improvement methods, we've eliminated the cold solder joints and insufficients we'd seen on our boards. It's so important to create 'Optimizer' recipes for each board type by optimizing immersion depth and dwell time for each product.

Our long-term production plan now includes multiple Optimizer runs daily on each of our four wave machines. Honeywell has identified our plant as a Center of Excellence and board quality in production has very high visibility here. Everybody in this industry should adhere to your unique techniques. We certainly will.
