SUBJECT: Your training and troubleshooting program

I would like to provide you with some comments on the four days of wave solder training and troubleshooting you performed here this week.

You presented new ideas and applications, and were able to show me their importance right away for our own boards. Clearly, good machine maintenance is not enough. We need to concern ourselves with the best process data by product!

Our most common wave solder defects have been bridges and shorts. Your simple methods for eliminating such defects were so effective while you were here. By actively responding to data from our Optimizer, you actually eliminated bridges we have had for a long time. Some of them we thought we had to live with due to design, but I now see how to reduce bridging easily even when we thought it was not possible. Obviously, your instructor is very dynamic and effective.

I would like to add that all three of Sigmatron's PCBA facilities are using the Wave Solder Optimizer's procedures and special techniques every day, and that you have now performed the onsite training workshop at all three of our plants - here, in Mexico and in China. We sincerely appreciate your proactive support. It's something that sets you apart from many other suppliers.
